Got7's JAY B Celebrates New Chapter with Solo Debut

On February 20, 2021, Got7's talented member, JB (now known as JAY B), marked a significant milestone in his career by releasing his single 'Encore' under his new stage name. The change in stage name was announced just a week prior to the release of his single, signaling a fresh start for the K-pop idol.

The journey that led to this moment began on January 19, 2021, when JB officially left JYP Entertainment after the expiration of his contract. This marked an exciting new chapter not only for JB but also for fans worldwide who have been eagerly awaiting his solo debut.

Before embarking on this solo path, JB made a name for himself as part of Got7. Alongside his fellow group members, he debuted as JJ Project in 2012 with the single album 'Bounce'. The duo's success led to their official music video release for the title track, which garnered significant attention.

As JB continued to grow and evolve as an artist, he began to explore other creative avenues. In October 2020, he held his first photo exhibition named 'ALONE' in Seoul, showcasing his artistic talents beyond music.
